Biography
I am an early career researcher in the field of Microbiology and Public Health; I hold a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Microbiology from the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola-Nigeria, and a Master of Public Health Degree from Kampala International University, Uganda. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Microbiology at Kampala International University Uganda. I have been particularly drawn to exploring microbial populations and infections of public health importance. My research interests include the epidemiology of infectious and Non-communicable diseases, microbial ecology, and evolution, molecular biology techniques for detection and identification of pathogens, and clinical laboratory methods for diagnosis of bacterial infections.
